Sam Altman is the Chairman & CEO of OpenAI. OpenAI’s mission is to ensure that artificial general intelligence benefits all of humanity. Previously, Sam was Chairman and President of Y Combinator. Sam studied computer science at Stanford University until 2005, the same year he co-founded and became the CEO of Loopt, a location-based social networking mobile app. While studying at Stanford, he worked in the AI Lab.
