Anni Laurila is a Finnish architect and entrepreneur. She attended Singularity University’s Global Solutions Program 2015 after winning Finland’s first Global Impact Challenge with an idea for water quality issues. As Finland’s Speaker of the Year Nominee 2019 she gives speeches regularly. She is also a World Economic Forum Global Shaper and has attended Al Gore’s climate training. Recently Anni was in a ministry workgroup to form Finland’s national Architectural Policy Program. She was the 1st runner-up in a Europe-wide EFCA Future Leader of the Year 2022, with an large urban planning project she led.
Anni Laurila’s presentation will connect the built environment with a future-oriented perspective: both the challenges in sustainability, and the opportunities we have. After all, we create the built environment to last for decades.
