He previously spent six years as a marketing executive at Google and 12 years in news across ABC News, CBS News and CNN as an Emmy-nominated science and technology correspondent. He is the author of The Digital Diet: the four-step plan to break your tech addiction and regain balance in your life (Three Rivers, 2011).

Taryn Southern is a storyteller and AI artist whose work explores the intersection of emerging tech and human potential.

Her debut documentary, I AM HUMAN, follows three humans with implantable brain interfaces and premiered at the 2019 Tribeca Film Festival.
