Throughout this module, Ramez and Peter discuss the toughest challenges in the future of energy, with a special focus on the importance of decarbonization. They discuss the important role that the public and private sector should play in solving problems of electricity generation, especially as it relates to indoor temperature control (e.g. heat and air conditioning). Ramez also touches on the challenge of seasonal storage, carbon-free electricity, high-voltage transmission, agriculture & lands use, and the importance of significantly lowering greenhouse gas emissions around the world.

There has never been a better time in human history to address these global challenges. At no other time would we have had the tools and millions of incentivized entrepreneurs we need to combat the enormous problem of climate change.
